March 2010

Zoltner Consulting Group, DataDyne's on-the-ground project partner in Chile, has sent us a new video, in English and in Spanish, detailing the DatAgro project: sending agricultural information, weather, and news to rural farmers via SMS.  The same MIP technology is being using by PAHO in Peru to send continuing education messages to health workers.

Joel Selanikio represented DataDyne at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, participating in several discussions and finally a panel on "Technology in Society" with Eric Schmidt (CEO, Google), Didier Lombard (Chairman, France Telecom), Rainer Bruderle (German Federal Minister for Economics and Technology), and William Green (CEO, Accenture). Moderated by Adam Lashinsky of Fortune magazine.
