Geoffrey is a Nairobi-based programmer with a passion for mobile application development, which he developed as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr Nathan Eagle (MIT) under the EPROM project (Entrepreneurial Programming and Research on Mobiles). Since 2007, he has been actively involved at DataDyne.org in developing sustainable solutions for public health.

What is “reasonably priced” for a not for profit?
Great post on the Sama blog on software pricing for nonprofits. Here's an excerpt from the post:
"Regular companies invest in tools to increase the bottom line and NFPs seek to save as much of their capital as possible so they have enough left for the expenses that directly impact the community they are trying to serve."

Microsoft sees end of Windows era! The www revolution!
Its about time read more.... I think as the internet infrastructure worldwide improves and more people get connected, we might just see the end of operating systems as we know them. Infact, I predict that browsers will be the next generation operating systems. No need for large hard drive to store the operating system, drivers, and exra software. If one needs an office suite, they will be able to get it free! on the web, the future browser willl be able to access the "www" file system for storage.
