Bio: Tia manages DataDyne.org's technology development. Previously, she was an engineering manager at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. Prior to that, she was at Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management division and developed implantable cardiac monitoring devices. Prior to that, she was a program manager at Microsoft Corporation and developed products for Windows Mobile and Office. She has authored over 20 peer-reviewed technical publications on the topic of wireless mesh sensor networks and is the recipient of National Science Foundation GRFP award. She has a MS in Electrical Engineering and expects a MBA, both from Stanford University.
